Trichodiadema densumis not acactusbut could be mistaken for one . Its farewell end in a rotary of potent hairs , giving the plant a like appearance to someMammillarias . It can produce up to 4 inches ( 10 cm ) tall as a mat - forming succulent with thickened fleshy rootage , woody halt , and thickheaded , heavy , green leave of absence . The leaves can measure up to 0.8 inch ( 2 curium ) long and 0.2 inches ( 0.5 curium ) in diameter .
