As we enter into the world of professional gardening we have used our shared experience and preparation here at Audley End House and Gardens to make a Shared Ecologies Border . The delimitation is designed to convey plant , animal , and human communities together in a small , tended space .
Our heading was to offer a shared habitat for a various assembling of coinage whilst using plants with a partake eatable and decorative purpose . We have encouraged community coherence and wellbeing through sharing plants and materials with local group whilst maintaining our sustainable work on practices to promote a apportion , liveable and biodiverse hereafter .

Finding your ‘pink’

The border is called ‘ Finding Your pinko ’ , and conduct its inspiration from Flamingos . They loose their pink colour after birth due to yield everything to their child , as do cleaning woman after childbirth .

In this design , ornamental grasses ground the design and late summertime flowering perennials interweave among and through rings of woven willow . These rings are interlinked and symbolise the connection made between people across gardens . The flowers are specifically self seeders , those that can be shared either through seed share-out or naturally freely in the community .
