One of the best manner to know if you ’re plant forpollinatorsis if you see a continual increment in the varieties that jaw . My gardens are organically grow in Old Chatham New York , Zone 5b , where we have a passably short growing time of year . Over the last few years , we ’ve gone from see to it a fewbeesand butterfly to witness a tenfold increase . Part of the reason is the addition of brightly coloredperennialsand an increase focus on adding the pollinators’host plant . I thought I ’d apportion my “ Perennial Playland , ” which attracts the most beautiful visitors to my garden .
It ’s a riot of coloring in this ‘ Perennial Playland ’ garden ! This garden is chockful of unlike variety show for summer color , likeconeflowers(Echinaceahybrids , Zones 4–9 ) , daylilies(Hemerocallishybrids , Zones 4–10 ) , lobelia(Lobeliacardinalis , Zones 3–9 ) , Joe Pye weed(Eupatoriummaculatum , Zones 3–8 ) , and more .

The terrace space planted up with ‘ Golden Jubilee ’ hyssop(Agastache‘Golden Jubilee ’ , zone 5–8 ) and commingle with the Giant Benarys zinnias(Zinniaelegans , yearly ) that I set about from source is very popular with the butterfly and bee .
