Frequent moves, always creating gardens

My husband and I bought this menage in Bay St. Louis , Mississippi , about four years ago and are now living here full prison term . We ’re Zone 8b with modest winters and hot , humid summers .
For my 60th birthday on March 9 , my married man catch the side grounds prepare to my delight . I ’ve loved gardening my total liveliness . Over the more than 30 years of our marriage , we ’ve lived in Arizona , Florida , Virginia , Ohio , Alabama ( doubly ) , California , Louisiana , and now Mississippi , where we contrive to continue . It ’s been hard leaving gardens we create , especially in Birmingham , Alabama , and in Baton Rouge , Louisiana .

Along with horticulture , I get laid wildlife and am tickle a fairy bluebird pair is setting up housekeeping in the box we put up for them . The monarch butterflies have already been busy this year . Yesterday I counted over a dozen caterpillar on the milkweed that make it winter . We ’ll bask find the chrysalis on our front porch all summertime and sometimes vex to see steel - new butterfly stroke .
I ca n’t expect to plant my two new bed !
This salvia ( probablySalvia‘Wendy ’s Wish ’ , Zone 9–10 or as annual ) has not give up blooming all winter .
