I love Iris and visiting a commercial Iris Garden is a highlight of each Spring. Superstition Iris Gardens always have a great display of tried and true Iris as well as new strains. Come see what caught my eye this year.
My Iris garden sojourn 2018 was momentous . One is because we got lost and had to take several roundabout way . The heavy rains cardinal California have in April wash out many roads and bridges creating a challenge for us essay to get to our favorite Iris garden . ( google maps was useless!)But once we arrived it was worth the travail .
Be prepared for some garden eye confect !
I did not take most as many exposure as I did last class . Some were the same as last year so I did not shoot those . I focused on photographing the ones that really get my eye .
Well , truth be tell , scads enamour my eye but I wanted to really devote time to quality exposure instead of just snap everything .
This one below was a unexampled origination and they had nearly half a row devoted to it . Seeing it mass planted that manner made it really bear out . I remember I want to do more mass planting of my favorite Iris color .
When I deal a Iris photo on facebook I relate that I was really drawn to the Iris that leaned towards browns . I do n’t know why but they really caught my attention .
This next one was called Chihuahuan Desert . It is another new introduction . I eff the frothy white upper petal and the caramel brown creme falls with halcyon beards .
I was on the lookout station for a white one , I do n’t have a virtuous whitened Iris yet . When I got close to this one I realized it was splashed with random purple spots and each blossom was so very dissimilar .
I could keep on send more photo but it would be overwhelm . Plus I have tons of Iris found that should be blooming soon if the conditions holds and I will have enough more Iris photos from my garden .
