How Did You First Get Into Gardening?
“ I wastaught to weedby my female parent , who throw me 10p for every yard I completed , ” share Georgie .

What Led You To A Career In Horticulture?
“ A neighbor sent me a bouquet of blossom in the post . At the time , I was looking for a new direction .
“ I had two very small children and needed a job I could do in twenty - minute increment between alimentation , wiping , place down to sleep and convey up to play with the kids .
“ The redolence arrived from my neighbor and I had a lightbulb moment . I thought , I can do this , I can grow bouquets for sales event . And so I did .
“ Nearly fourteen years later , we ’re still doing it . ”
What Does A Typical Working Day Look Like For You?
“ I fall out of layer about 6 am and start with a coffee and a tilt , ” she explains .
“ I answer a few email , reply to a act of social culture medium fundamental interaction and I ’m at my desk or outside by 8 am . Monday is admin sidereal day , Tuesday I often instruct , on Wednesday I reap prime , and on Thursday and Friday I order them .
“ I often learn workshops online from 5 pm and sometimes all day here at the studio . My year is reasonably minutely organised to include everything from school concerts , kinsfolk birthday , sowing , planting , harvest home and the Chelsea Flower Show , so no two Clarence Day are the same , but the class repeats itself .
“ I do most of my gardening at the weekend when the headphone is less likely to peal and I can put off emails until Monday . ”
