Foliage that’s a visual treat
We ’re continuing to bask Cherry Ong ’s pictures of a tour of garden organized by theVancouver Hardy Plant Society . Today ’s photos are of ahostalover ’s garden .
Pairing deepblue - greenish hostaswith bright yellowness and lighter leaves ca-ca both of them calculate all the more dramatic and beautiful . A couple of the hostas are develop inpots , which is an comfortable fashion to lift them up where they can be enjoyed and to move them around to just the correct spot .
Cherry always has an eye for beautiful carving in the gardens she chatter . These metal flowers are just wonderful .

Sarumahenryi(Zones 5–8 ) is a unfearing gingerroot relative with substance - shape foliage and small yellow flower raise over a long period in the summertime . Verydrought tolerant , it is a ripe selection fordry - shadeconditions .
Hostas , hostas , and more hostas
These improbable blue pipes are unusualcontainersto see in a garden . They make a beautiful program line on their own , and of course they look peachy lifting up hostas to eye level .

Fernsand hostas are a mates made in heaven . Many fern prosper in just the same conditions as ahostas , and the soft texture of fern frond counterpoint perfectly with the broad , bold farewell of the hostas .
Not all ferns have a fragile grain . ThisPyrrosiafern ( Zones 8–10 ) has tough , almost leathery - looking frond .
This niggling glasshouse / tool shed is as beautiful as it is hard-nosed . And the walking to it is line with more hostas .

Cherry always notices the little detail tuck in amid the plants .
This garden has actually been feature inFine Gardeningmagazine ( How to Use Hostas in a Garden Design ) , so if you need to see more photo and learn more about how the owner , Delphia Johnstone , designs her garden , gibe that article out !
