We ’re back in Richmond , British Columbia to cover Cherry Ong ’s serial on her garden transformation and greenhouse build . Last calendar week Cherry gave us all of the muddied details of what it take to work up one these prefabricated greenhouses , and today she ’s give way helpful advice on what some might find the most fascinating part of this process : all of the Alexander Melville Bell and whistles that really make these structures the idealistic place to rise any plant you desire . Greenhouse Accessories and Add Ons

Electric Heater : We purchase this Forced Air Greenhouse Heater with Fan from Amazon ( iPower Electric Heater Fan with Digital Cooling Thermostat Controller for Greenhouse ) . It has overheat protection wherein once the desire temperature is reached , the heater will mechanically shut off . Since the greenhouse mainly shop succulents , we have set the desired temperature to 14 ° C/57 ° degree Fahrenheit . The hummer is lightweight and portable . It sits on the greenhouse base and fits under one of the plant place upright ( we switched the plant stands after this photo was taken ) . It has a high truth thermostat controller , is waterproof and can quickly hot up up modest space .

Extension Cord and Timer

Lighting

Hubby add a spot ignitor for inside the greenhouse decent after induction , but I wanted to add something pretty . I fuck the way the Europeans adorn their greenhouses with a pendant . Our greenhouse has a lower ceiling with not much way for one , so we baffle originative and string along a long mossy arm with electric LED queer lights and hung the lit branch with zip ties .

Fan

With all of these accessories in place , the nursery is equip to house some of Cherry ’s most precious and raw plants . However , there are a few more things that have made greenhouse grow that much easy . Next week we will comprehend more supplement , an upgrade that was made in the summer , and the flooring that was install to make standing in the greenhouse a little easy .
