A detailed look at a bountiful harvest of sensational colors and sweet scents
Hi GPODers !
Today we ’re see at the overgenerous bounty Amanda Benick gathered from her garden so far this year . This beautiful bouquet is a spread for the senses with vivacious color and gratifying scents .
Grew some “ wildflowers ” this year . Thought perhaps these are bright enough to partake . Corn poppies(Papaverrhoeas , annual ) , Chinese forget - me - not(Cynoglossum amabile , annual),candytuft(Iberisumbellata , annual).Lavender thrown in for scent . Also I get this native meadowsweet or Queen of the Prairie(Filipendularubra , zone 3–9)from come . I used the wintersowing method last year and it is blooming this class .

A corking year for poppy might be an understatement ! That red looks like it ’s go to bolt down aright off my screen and land on my keyboard 😍
And it looks like it was a capital year for all the flowers Amanda grew this year . Those forget - me - nots are attend redundant aristocratic and the sweet pinky purple candytuft ca n’t be hidden .
From every slant there is a gorgeous bloom to admire .

Plants really are the talent that keep on giving . From far off they are strike , but get up close and personal with a bloom and there is a whole world to search . usual poppies I always feel to be particularly interesting , their bright red petals opening up to reveal a morose center with lots of fluffy - looking stamens . As a tike I always consider they looked other worldly .
While Amanda did an astonishing line of capturing the colors of this fragrance outdoors , nothing has the power to make flowers shine restrained like natural Lord’s Day rays .
Finally , a pellet of the Queen of the Prairie Amanda so successfully grow from semen . An infrangible dish , Amanda — thank you for share your fabulous flush !
